The fee for Confirmation Preparation materials is $30. Payment can be made through online registration, cheque or e-transfer giving@saintannes.ca
Please put “Confirmation Prep for [youth’s name]” in memo field.
The diocesan retreat held on Sunday, March 15th has an additional cost of $20. Registration for retreat is separate through Diocese linked below:

If the fee for either is a potential barrier to participation for your child, please let us know – we never want that to stop your child from receiving the sacraments :)
We strongly encourage your youth to take advantage of other supplemental faith opportunities throughout this journey that you will be invited to! We will communicate lots of other optional things to enhance this wonderful time of preparation!
Key Dates / Elements:
~ January – April: Four Small Group Sessions
- After registration, youth will have 4 two hour prep sessions in groups of ~10 with preparation leaders at the church in our living room. You can come to either the Sunday or Wednesday for each session. Dates are tentative pending confirmation mass to ensure appropriate time is given.

- Sunday, February 1st, 1:00-3:00 PM
- Wednesday, February 4th, 4:30-6:30 PM
Session #3

- Wednesday, March 4th, 4:30-6:30 PM
Diocesan Confirmation Retreat
- Sunday, March 15th, 12-5 PM – Facilitated by Face to Face Ministries hosted at Saint Anne’s [registration info to be sent soon!]
Session #4
- Sunday, March 29th, 1:00-3:00 PM
- Wednesday, April 1st, 4:30-6:30 PM
Other Components
- Youth going to Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to confirmation.
- Choose a sponsor to accompany you in your preparation.
- Choosing a Saint name for confirmation.
- Confirmation is scheduled for Saturday April 18th at our 5PM weekend mass with Bishop Mark.
