The fee for Confirmation Preparation is $30 for covering materials. Payment can be made through online registration, cheque or e-transfer giving@saintannes.ca. Please put in memo “Confirmation Prep for [youth’s name]”. The diocesan retreat held on Sunday, April 6th has an additional cost of $20 (registration will be separate). If the fee for either is a potential barrier to participation for your child, please let us know!

We strongly encourage your youth to take advantage of other supplemental faith opportunities throughout this journey that you will be invited to! We will communicate lots of other optional things to enhance this wonderful time of preparation!

  • March/April – Three 2-hour Small Group Sessions
    • After registration, youth will have 3 prep sessions in groups of  5-10 with preparation leaders at the church. You can come to whichever day of the week works to attend the 3 sessions.

  • Youth going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation before getting confirmed.
  • Choose a sponsor to accompany you in your preparation.
  • Choosing a Saint name for confirmation.
  • Confirmation Mass is Tuesday, April 29th, 7 pm

  • We will be doing majority of your son/daughter's preparation in a small group setting. We will try our best to place them in groups according to your availability. Please check all times you think you might be available (these sessions are to be 1/month for 2 hours from November - March)
  • From November - April we will be doing 1/month prep in small groups for a richer, fun, and more meaningful experience than in one large group (wisdom gleaned from last year!) - Colm is looking for parents willing to be a "host" for one or all of their child's small group sessions. Essentially opening your door to 7-10 teens, catechists, & be present and provide a snack and something to drink. Training and support given by Colm :)
