Michaela grew up on the Saskatchewan side of Lloydminster and moved to Unity, Saskatchewan in high school. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Saskatchewan for her Bachelor of Education. After finishing her degree Michaela moved back home to Unity and began teaching Kindergarten in the thick of Covid. After teaching for three years in Unity, she moved to Saskatoon and joined St. Anne’s parish in the fall of 2023. She was excited to see the maternity position for Coordinator of Children’s Ministry come open and is thrilled to have a job in such a welcoming and bustling parish. Michaela enjoys working with children and youth and is looking forward to this role in the parish.
Michaela got married in May 2023 to her husband Turner. In her spare time Michaela loves to go for walks, camping, spending time with family, raising her new puppy, growing plants, reading, and growing closer to God. Michaela and Turner both look forward to becoming members of St. Anne’s and getting to know the parish community.
