St. Anne's parish offers sacramental preparation for children who are baptized Catholic. The sacrament of Baptism is offered at infancy. At the Grade 2 level, children at least 7 years old, are instructed to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation in the fall and the sacraments of Confirmation and 1st Eucharist in the spring. This is the new order of the sacraments. For children who did not receive confirmation in Grade 2, St Anne's continues to offer the sacrament of Confirmation to Grade 6 students or those who are 11 years or older. This is the last year of Grade 6 Confirmation. If you are in grade 4 or older, and have not yet received this Sacrament, please sign up this year for the Grade 6 program. Grade 2 First Eucharist and Confirmation Registration Forms will be available starting the weekend of February 27/28.
Celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation: Wednesday April 21 and Thursday, April 22. Both at 7 PM If you have any questions about the Confirmation Retreat or if your child is unable to be there and will miss part or all of it, please let contact Cody Redekop at the parish office or by email. The schedule for Grade 6 Confirmation is available for download here. If you haven’t yet registered your child for Grade 6 Confirmation and would like to, the registration form is available here. Our classes aim to educate the children, and their families, about the sacrament, the Catholic Church and how each can work within our daily lives. We want to help the families in our programs build their relationship with God as well as develop habits that nurture their ongoing spiritual growth. For information regarding sacramental preparation for children in Grade 2 or Grade 6 please contact Cody Redekop at the parish office (931-4700) or by email at stannesyouth@hotmail.com. Registration forms for Grade 2 Confirmation and First Eucharist will be available at the parish office on the weekend of February 27th and 28th. Weekend masses: Saturday 5PM; Sunday 9 and 11 AM. It is important
for families preparing for the sacraments to attend and participate regularly
in the masses.
