 Journeying Through Lent with ArtThis Lent, rather than “give something up”; perhaps you could consider giving some of your time for self-reflection. Art is a powerful medium for inner work and lent is a good time to reflect on our life, our faith and our relationship with God.  * "The Fullness of Purpose" - St. Augustine Parish in Humboldt, SK is holding a Lenten Parish Mission Feb. 25-27, with dynamic speaker and author Ken Yasinski addressing "The Fullness of Purpose" to help you tackle life's most meaningful questions: Why have I been created? Where is joy found? Does my Catholic faith matter? This mission presents the truths of our Catholic faith in everyday simple language. Be inspired to live your full potential! The mission will begin at 7 p.m. each evening, Feb. 25-27; childcare will be available, with hospitality to follow in the parish hall. St. Augustine's Lenten penitential service will take place immediately following the last mission talk on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Please note that for the first time in many years, this year's Rite of Election will also include celebration of the Sunday Eucharist for the First Sunday of Lent.The Rite of Election is a step in the RCIA process – the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults – involving those in our diocese who are journeying toward baptism at the Easter Vigil.
